The V.E.M. medium-efficiency filter is the replacement filter for the NYDZ-QR-600G fresh air unit — the consumable part that catches dust and PM2.5 before the outdoor air reaches the room.

When to change it

A loaded filter is the usual reason a fresh air unit goes quiet and weak: the fan is still running, but almost nothing is coming through the diffusers. In Lebanon, with road dust and a long dry season, most units want a new filter more often than the manual suggests. If the LCD display module is flagging filter status, or the airflow has visibly dropped, change it.
