The V.E.M. MFJ-HF150 is a 150 mm (6 inch) inline duct fan with a brushless DC motor, for pulling stale air, steam and odours out of a bathroom, a kitchen, a shop or a small workshop through round ducting.

Where it goes

Unlike a wall extractor, an inline duct fan sits inside the duct run, between the ceiling grille and the outlet. That keeps the motor away from the room, so the ventilation is quieter where people are, and it lets you extract from a room that has no outside wall.

Why the BLDC motor

A brushless DC motor draws 28 W for 540 m³/h of air, which is a fraction of what an equivalent AC exhaust fan uses, and it runs cooler and quieter. The windings are 100% copper, so the fan takes long daily running hours without overheating.
