The Suntree DC surge protector Type 1+Type 2 1500V is a 3-pole PV surge protective device (DC+, DC- and PE) for the DC side of solar systems up to 1500 V. It protects inverters, charge controllers and panels from lightning surges, and is installed in PV combiner boxes and DC distribution boards on rooftops and solar farms.

- Type 1+2 for PV: handles direct lightning current and induced surges on the DC side.
- Plug-in modules: easy module replacement with plug-in clips; flash barrier prevents arc spread.
- Fault indication: green and red flags show module status (green good, red replace); optional remote contact.
- DC arc safety: combined disconnection and short-circuiting device with safe isolation, preventing fire from DC arcs.
- Cool running: design dissipates heat quickly and lowers service temperature.
