Astro PV solar cable 6 mm² for DC wiring (Astro type APC-6mm² DC, H1Z2Z2-K). Single-core cable for connecting solar panels to each other and the panel strings to the DC/AC inverter, in home and commercial PV systems up to 1,800 V DC to ground. Made by Astro Power Cables in the Zahle industrial city.

Tested
Batch PO7338-300925-13 was type-tested on 14 Nov 2025 by Astro's ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, with a Bureau Veritas inspection stamp, to BS EN 50618, IEC 60228 and IEC 60811. Measured conductor resistance was 3.05 Ω/km against a 3.39 Ω/km limit, and the single-cable flame test charred 180 mm against a 540 mm limit. The report also covers the 6.5 kV AC voltage test, insulation resistance, tensile strength, ageing, thermal shock and hot set.
