By snapping securely over the open box before masonry work begins, it prevents plaster, mortar, and dust from entering the housing, keeping your pre-routed conductors and internal threads completely clean. Once the walls have dried, the cover is easily removed along with any overlying plaster residue, leaving a perfectly pristine enclosure ready for the mounting frame and modular switches.
